Das gro\u00dfe Auktionshaus, das 2017 in der Bond Street in London seinen 100. Geburtstag feierte, hat es jedoch vorgezogen, nicht auf die Details der einzelnen Sparten (Schmuck, Kunst, M\u00f6bel, Briefmarken, etc.) einzugehen, sondern seine T\u00e4tigkeit in eine Gesamt-Synthese. Der Umsatz erreichte 2017 $ 4,7 Milliarden, ein Anstieg von 13,1%. Er betonte jedoch, dass der Online-Verkauf von Schmuck auf Auktionen boomt und dass 23% der Lose \u00fcber das Internet gekauft wurden. Ein interessanter Fakt. Und ohne auf den Schmuck einzugehen (es war ein Jahr voller Licht und Schatten), erinnert sich Sotheby&#8217;s an die erfolgreichsten St\u00fccke.<br \/>\nZum Beispiel der Weltrekord f\u00fcr die Auktion von Diamanten oder Edelsteinen mit The Pink Star, sp\u00e4ter umbenannt in The CTF Pink von K\u00e4ufer Chow Tai Fook. Der 59,60-Karat-Rose Typ IIa Diamant wurde f\u00fcr 71,2 Millionen gekauft.<br \/>\nSotheby&#8217;s hat auch einen Rekord f\u00fcr die teuersten Ohrringe gesetzt, die mit birnenf\u00f6rmigen Diamanten Apollo Blue und Artemis Pink, die 14,54 Karat bzw. 16 Karat wiegen, versteigert werden. Sie wurden als zwei separate Lose verkauft und anschlie\u00dfend in die Erinnerung an Herbstbl\u00e4tter und den Traum von Herbstlaub umbenannt. Die zwei Ohrringe wurden f\u00fcr insgesamt 57,4 Millionen verkauft.<br \/>\nAndere H\u00f6hepunkte waren ein leuchtender Diamant im Smaragdschliff von 5,9 Karat, der f\u00fcr 15,1 Millionen verkauft
