Sie wurden von Bj\u00f6rn Weckstr\u00f6m, dem finnischen Designer und Bildhauer, nach Lappland Jewelry beauftragt. Die Halskette, genannt Planetoid-T\u00e4ler und das Darina-Armband, sind die beliebtesten Schmuckst\u00fccke der Marke geworden.<br \/>\nJeder begann mit einem Anruf in Weckstr\u00f6m im Jahr 1976. Ein Mitarbeiter von George Lucas fragte der Designer neue Schmuck innerhalb von sechs Wochen. Die Wahl war nicht l\u00e4ssig: Bj\u00f6rn Weckstr\u00f6m hatte bereits St\u00fccke zum Thema Raum- und Science-Fiction gemacht. Aber die Zeit war verk\u00fcrzt auf eine Woche und daher wurde ein existiertes Juwel von Lapponia Schmuck verwendet. Da Filmszenen in Studios in der N\u00e4he von London gedreht wurden, wurde Raumschmuck sehr einfach in der Bond Street gekauft.<br \/>\nDie Planetoid Valley Halskette und Darina Armband wurden von Carrie Fisher als Prinzessin Leia getragen, als er die Medaillen an Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) und Han Solo (Harrison Ford) \u00fcbergab.
