Noch seltener stellt sich heraus, dass ein Juwel kostbarer ist, als es geglaubt wurde. Lass es uns einfach sagen: gew\u00f6hnlich passiert es genau das Gegenteil. Aber es ist nicht der Fall von einem Gl\u00fccklichen, der einen Ring f\u00fcr 10 Pfund (ca. 11,5 Euro) durch Zufall mit dem, was er dachte, war ein gro\u00dfer Kristall gekauft. Stattdessen war es ein 26-Karat-Diamant, der jetzt von Sotheby&#8217;s in London f\u00fcr \u00a3 656.750 verkauft wurde, etwa 775.000 Euro. Der Ring wurde nach einer Hektikverhandlung verkauft, die nur zwei Minuten dauerte: Vor der Auktion hatten die Experten das Juwel zu einem H\u00f6chstpreis von \u00a3 350.000 gesch\u00e4tzt. Habe aber nicht das gleiche Gl\u00fcck, wenn du einen Ring auf einem Markt kaufst. Ein weiterer interessanter Gegenstand der Auktion war eine Brosche von Cartier, die von Margaret Thatcher getragen wurde und zugunsten des Endeavor-Fonds verkauft wurde, der die Erholung von verletzten, milit\u00e4rischen und kranken und verletzten Frauen unterst\u00fctzt.
