Er ist jedoch einige Jahre j\u00fcnger: Der Gr\u00fcnder des Schmucks am Fu\u00dfe der Akropolis wurde 1920 in einer Familie von Goldschmieden und Uhrmachern aus Delphi in der vierten Generation geboren. Kurz gesagt, die griechische Tradition hatte es im Blut. Aus Leidenschaft f\u00fcr die Geschichte begann er klassische griechische Kunst zu studieren. Also beschloss er, den griechischen Juwelen, die in Museen aufbewahrt werden, neues Leben einzuhauchen. Um diese Juwelen von zwei Jahrtausenden fr\u00fcher nachzubilden, war es nat\u00fcrlich notwendig, die alte Goldschmiedetechnik zu lernen: Granulieren, Filigran, Handweben, H\u00e4mmern. Seine erste Sammlung im Jahr 1957 war daher eine &#8222;arch\u00e4ologische Sammlung&#8220;, die vom klassischen, hellenistischen und mykenischen Zeitalter inspiriert war. Er ging dann den gleichen Weg mit Juwelen, in denen Gold das fast ausschlie\u00dfliche Material war. Im Laufe der Jahre hat es die Sammlungen offensichtlich um moderne St\u00fccke erweitert, ohne jedoch die Inspiration der Welt der Antike zu \u00fcberlassen. 1998 ging das Unternehmen an die T\u00f6chter \u00fcber, die die Sammlungen weiter erneuern und stets dem Weg des Gr\u00fcndungsmeisters folgen. Tats\u00e4chlich setzt sich die Tradition bis heute mit Juwelen fort, die von der Tradition des griechischen Schmucks inspiriert sind und einen gewissen orientalischen Einfluss haben.<\/p>\n<figure
