Nach dem Besuch der Akademie der bildenden K\u00fcnste in Rom gr\u00fcndete Luigi Ferrara das Unternehmen 1972. Das Studium fr\u00fcherer Maler und Bildhauer beeinflusste wahrscheinlich den Stil des Juweliers. Seine Produktion hat in der Tat nichts vom Minimalismus vieler zeitgen\u00f6ssischer Juwelen, sondern spiegelt weitgehend die dekorativen Kriterien der Vergangenheit wider. Viele Juwelen wie Ohrringe oder Armb\u00e4nder sind in der Tat im \u00e4sthetischen Geschmack der Renaissance, des Art Deco oder des Jugendstils verankert.
