Der 1987 verstorbene amerikanische Fotograf und Autor transgressiver Portr\u00e4ts, insbesondere der LGBT-Community, stand im Mittelpunkt einer 2021 pr\u00e4sentierten Kollektion des italienischen Designers. Ein Jahr sp\u00e4ter schl\u00e4gt der in Paris ans\u00e4ssige Designer (das Maison ist in die Umlaufbahn der LVMH-Gruppe eingetreten) in Zusammenarbeit mit der Robert Mapplethorpe Foundation neue St\u00fccke vor, die von der Arbeit des Fotografen inspiriert sind. Denn Mapplethorpe hatte in den sechziger Jahren auch selbst Juwelen oder genauer Bijoux kreiert. Gaia Repossi wurde von mehr als 150 Referenzen der K\u00fcnstlerin inspiriert, die in den Archiven der Robert Mapplethorpe Foundation in New York aufbewahrt werden. Die Schmuckst\u00fccke der Gaia Repossi-Kollektion sind unterschiedlicher Art: Ringe aus hochglanzpoliertem Wei\u00dfgold, aber auch aus Schwarzgold, mit einem Kontrast, der an die Schwarz-Wei\u00df-Bilder des Fotografen erinnert. Aber es gibt keinen Mangel an Diamanthalsketten. Insgesamt gibt es 11 neue St\u00fccke, die in sechs Themen unterteilt sind, deren Namen sich auf das Werk von Robert Mapplethorpe beziehen: Dagger, Black x Cross, Bullseye, Relic, Chain und American
