Der Edelstein wurde in Angola von Lucapa Diamond Company Limited, der staatlichen Endiama EP und Rosas &amp; Petalas, Partner bei der Verwaltung der Lulo-Mine, gefunden. Aus diesem Grund wurde der Stein The Lulo Rose genannt. Der letzte gr\u00f6\u00dfte bekannte rosafarbene Diamant w\u00e4re der 242 Karat gro\u00dfe Tafeldiamant. Aber es ist lange her: Er wurde 1642 von dem franz\u00f6sischen Juwelier und Reisenden Jean-Baptiste Tavernier beschrieben. Jedenfalls sind die Spuren dieses Diamanten verloren gegangen. Einigen zufolge w\u00e4re es in zwei Teile geteilt worden, von denen einer Teil der in Teheran aufbewahrten Kronjuwelen gewesen w\u00e4re. Auf jeden Fall wird The Lulo Rose genauer beobachtet. Unter anderem wirkt diese Mine wie ein Wunder: Der rosafarbene Edelstein ist der 27.
