Abgesehen davon, dass er zu den gr\u00f6\u00dften Diamanten der Welt z\u00e4hlt, ist ein markantes Merkmal des Steins sein Pavillon, der in Form eines Malteserkreuzes facettiert ist. Am 10. April 1918 wurde der Stein erstmals bei Christie&#8217;s London vom Diamond Syndicate wieder zugunsten der British Red Cross Society und des Order of St John zum Verkauf angeboten.
