F\u00fcr die Adlige, den Mann, der als K\u00f6nig Sole in die Geschichte einging bat darum, dass die Diamanten geschliffen werden, um den Mund der Marquise zu modellieren. Seitdem ist diese l\u00e4ngliche Form, wie zwei gegen\u00fcberliegende Klammern, die zusammenpassen und in zwei Spitzen enden, ein Eckpfeiler in der Geschichte des Schmucks. Die Form der Schiffchen und der Schiffchenringe wird jedoch mit geschwungenen Kurven \u00fcberarbeitet, die die Geometrie noch weicher machen. Und neben dem Angebot von Kollektionen mit eigener Marke produziert sie auch im Auftrag renommierter Schmuckh\u00e4user. \u201eIn wenigen Jahren haben wir rund 400 Mitarbeiter erreicht\u201c, sagt Unternehmerin, Seele, Kopf und Herz der Marke, Licia Mattioli. Was sie vielleicht in ihrem Herzen nicht allzu sehr bedauert, dass sie die Schiebet\u00fcr, die sie vor ein paar Jahren von der Pr\u00e4sidentschaft der Confindustria (der italienischen Vereinigung der gro\u00dfen Unternehmen), f\u00fcr die sie kandidiert hat und h\u00e4tte werden k\u00f6nnen, entfernt hat, nicht allzu sehr bereut nat\u00fcrlicher Pr\u00e4sident. Das Leben hingegen hat aufgrund eines zynischen und betr\u00fcgerischen Schicksals (das eine Personalisierung der Geschichte vermeidet) eine andere Wendung genommen. Aber aus einem Spin-off derselben Realit\u00e4t wurde Mattioli geboren. Und aus diesem Grund r\u00fchmt sich die Mattioli-Schmuckmanufaktur auch heute noch mit der historischen 1TO-Pr\u00e4gung von 1860 auf dem gelben Metall. F\u00fcr Laien \u00fcbersetzt: Es bleibt das erste Unternehmen in Turin, das berechtigt ist, bearbeitetes Gold als Garantie zu \u201eunterzeichnen\u201c.
