New entry in Casato’s Yasmeen collection: diamond clusters, pink sapphires and rubellite ♦ ︎
Federico Gauttieri, founder of the Maison Casato, describes himself as a man rich in resources, with particular interest in Renaissance and Baroque art. A predilection that often emerges in the design of the collections of the jewelry company. On the one hand, attention to the contemporary mood, to the trends of luxury. On the other hand, the search for classical elegance, symmetry, innovation in tradition. The Yasmeen collection is part of this philosophy: a woman’s name, Gelsomina in Arabic, but also a flower.
Like clusters of the fragrant flower found in the warmer countries, the jewels of the collection are now also interpreted with clusters of diamonds, pink sapphires and rubellite, seen at VicenzaOro September.
They are pieces on which it is impossible not to stop looking. The collection, which is now a some years old, has just been enriched with two new entries, a ring and a pair of earrings. The pieces are added to those with diamonds, sapphires and tanzanites, or total white diamonds. Pieces that were presented Baselworld long ago and then presented at the Couture in Las Vegas.
